The Uncanny Machine is a machine with a collection of buttons and switches, which we would encounter in our everyday experience. When people see this machine, they want to press the buttons, they want to interact with it, even though they don't know what the machine can do.The Uncanny Machine depicts a strange situation that how people are obsessed with buttons (machines), it seeks to question, Why buttons can trigger curiosity? What is inside that can draw the interaction? Is it the hope of technology? Is it the expectation of modernity?
